LONG TIME NO SEE HEY
OMG I'm dying under work send help.
And that's basically why this update has taken a month and then some. This is actually the first evening I haven't had somewhere to be so now let me get down to it.

HOLY SHIT Another fantastic year! This time I was lucky enough to be joined by my two best friends Jo and Azu. Azu was my host sister when I lived in Japan and she came here to visit in March. That was a whole other set of adventures-
We headed down Thursday and arrived with enough time visit the space needle and a few other stores. It was great being back in Seattle. We pre-registered however Azu was still suffering jet lag so her and Jo went back to the hotel while I went and met up with ~LazyOrca who I was so stoked to see! The last time I had been in Seattle had been in Dec so it felt like a long time! I was also able to meet up with *Erin-Aru and I was even recognized by a  few people. Man it felt great, excuse my ego, but after being in the cosplay community for so long it was kinda exciting to hear people saying "Oh hey Shi" as they passed by @////////////@ I was even recognized by :devcloiegirl12 : which was SO AWESOME! I think I screamed and leaped at her (I hope you weren't too afraid).


Friday- Erin came over early morning so we could get ready together and then the four of us went out for coffee <a
The day was a lot of hilarious photoshoots and good times. Found Orca again along with ~Lightning-St0rm and ~TranquilChaos28 Who are possibly the most hilarious people to shoot with. Found some familiar faces along with many new one's. The day flew by in a flurry of photoshoots and meet ups. I had myself booked solid for photo requests and even then I found myself distracted by all the pretty people milling about @__@ That night was the masquerade and  it so happens the Learn to Dance Panel was doing a salsa demonstration. I love salsa times one million and I guess it showed because I was asked to be one of the demonstrators during the panel @-@


Despite my feet wanting to fall off I continued on to a party and met even more beautiful people


Saturday All my dreams came true when Alex and Jen picked me up at 5am and we began to sing the songs f angry men. Honestly I was so nervous about the Les Mis cosplay because I was CONVINCED I would look hideous as a blonde but I should know better than to doubt gods. Sure enough by time those two were done with me I didn't even know who that kid was in the mirror.

The picture says it all. Les mis was probably the most fun cosplay I have ever done, we had so much fun shooting together I don't know how we kept a straight face....Found *douzocosplay who looked super sexy (asalways) and *Nevada-DeNada with an awesome cosplay (asalways). Though it was rushed I was super happy I was able to shoot with as many people as I did.
More photoshoots happened and out of the blue ~hikari-twilight and *AnyaPanda showed up and welp, that was the best of the best. And to top it all off me and Azu headed to the annual concert where we saw Luna Haruna and Eir Aoi preform two of our favorite songs. We met up with Jo after and all found some dinner at this really top notch Chinese restaurant. They were incredibly friendly.
After that we got geared up for the rave,
However, before that happened I took a few seconds to talk to Orca and she shared something really kinda amazing with me. I won't go into detail but all problems eventually come full circle and we discovered we shared a similar conflict and sometimes it can be incredibly comforting to know you're not alone. A couple minutes turned into a couple hours and by the end of it our glasses were empty and I felt better than I had in 5 months. Azu and Jo had gone home so now me and Orca headed to the rave.

We partied so hard our skill went unmatched. I do remember striking up a conversation with a Japanese guy in the audience...I also remember feeling pretty fluent in Japanese...so I hope I didn't say anything stupid.
We decided that wasn't enough, Orca and I then decided to stay out the entire night because..............good life choices....................
I don't really remember what happened after that but apparently it got to the point where I thought the tree's were cosplayers and  I was trying to have a conversation. No regrets.
We ended up back in Orca's room, on her floor, laughing our asses off about the stupidest little things...because at 4am in the morning everything is pretty genius and therefore insanely funny. I woke at 7:30 and decided to spend the day in normal clothes.

Sunday Dressing casual was probably the best idea I had had all con. I was so trashed after only a few hours of sleep and being in my own clothes gave me a chance to shoot tons of more awesome cosplayers and socialize with tons of people.
Meeting up with Azu and Jo at noon we walked down to pike street so I could show Azu the very first Starbucks. We then headed back and climbed back into the car. The drive home was a long awaited nap.
Each year Sakura con amazes me, just when I think things can't get anymore intense and amazing they pull of another fantastic year. I made so many good friends and strengthened the  bonds I already had. Doors closed and twice as many opened and I was real sad to see it over. There are tons of things I have left out as it would take too long to type and I am sure you probably don't care at this point.
But thank you EVERYONE for making another con another amazing memory.


Every since Sakura con I:
Lived out my visit with Azu. She really is my idol and dear friend. I gave her her very first Easter egg hunt!

Was in my schools musical Guys and Dolls, another great bonding experience and even more make-up

Took a school choir trip to Whistler

Started Gatsby out of leisure, can't wait for the movie

preformed in a local spring Gala

Became a Danish prince and I'm always trying my hardest in History class

and in between there has been time for the odd drink...
or three


Yes, it has been a very good few months.
Couldn't be happier
